This book is the original account based on the ideas and information collected by the Institute for the Study of Cultural Evolution. It was written by Mike Nickerson, the Sustainability Project Coordinator in the years following the Institute's study. Originally published in 1977, Change the World I want to Stay On is liberally illustrated with original Art Nouveau drawings by John Deveikis. Natural Life Magazine called it ". . . one of the most important books of the decade."
